FAQ

I haven't received my order confirmation?

A few minutes after your purchase you should receive an order confirmation. Please check your spam folder in your email if you can't find it.

Do I need to know my maximum heart rate, watt max or threshold?

No you don't. All workouts are built on RPE (rate of perceived exertion). RPE 10 = as hard as possible. RPE 1= as easy as possible.

Is this the same as Dala Sports Academy Elite?

No, it's not. Dala Sports Academy Elite is where our professional riders are training on daily basis, get access to their coach Adrian Hörnqvist and group sessions on and off the bike. See here for more information.

Is it the same workouts over the whole year?

No, all training programs follow a periodization (over the year training plan) that is adjusted to the international racing calendar in Enduro and Downhill. Which means that the training plan will change from off season to race season, and there will be tapering towards races.

What is the difference between "Train like a pro" and "Guided lika a pro".

"Train like a pro" is a sneak peak into how our professional riders are training. Your get access to an monthly training plan with daily workouts that are very similar to how it looks like for the professional riders. "Guided like a pro" is exactly what the professional riders are doing. Then you get access to your own coach and have your training plan set up to match just you.

Is the training program in Swedish or English?

As you can see the website is in English. But don't worry, the description in the workouts in Training Peaks is both in English and Swedish. When it comes to the videos that explain certain training exercises, they will be in English.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, when you purchase your program you get an email (see below) with details on how to cancel your subscription.

What happens if I get sick?

If you get sick we recommend you rest until you feel symtom free. After that you can start following the program again. We also recommend you take an extra day off before starting training and the first couple of days into training you can take it quite easy.

What kind of bike(s) do I need?

You can do all bike related workouts on a Enduro bike, But it can be good to also have a hardtail (dirtjump) bike for some sessions. If you want variation you can shift between Enduro, XC, road and gravel bikes). If you follow Oliver Zwars training program for Downhill, you need a different bike than a Downhill bike for long distance rides and intervalls (Enduro, XC, road or gravel bike).

What kind of training equipment do I need?

There will be workouts both on and off the bike. You need access to a gym for weight lifting (for example squats, deadlifts, benchpress) and for cardio training (for example wattbike, rower, treadmill).

Do I need skiing equipment?

Both cross country skiing and randonee is very popular training for our athletes. It's totally fine to replace it with bike riding and in those workouts you can choose between bike riding or skiing in many workouts.
